Today I had the opportunity to moderate a very interesting discussion at the Forbes Forum of Entrepreneurs. Together with the speakers, we talked about how they have already implemented AI in their businesses and what level of efficiency they achieved.
The key ideas that stayed with me
- AI adoption is like the invention of electricity: first, a workshop replaced a kerosene lamp with an electric one, and only later moved toward autonomous conveyor lines. Right now, we are probably still at the lightbulb stage.
- AI transformations work best when industry experts and the project team implementing the change work in sync.
- AI can be an effective helper even in fields like medicine and healthcare, but it should not replace doctors.
- In advertising, AI already helps with research, reporting, data structuring, and part of the routine. But budgets, strategic decisions, and final accountability remain with the specialist.
Beyond our panel, the forum had a large number of interesting speakers. The second day promises to be just as engaging and useful.
If your team already sees the potential of AI but is not sure where to start, take a look at AI process diagnostics or AI consulting for business. If you need a fast team start, there is also corporate AI training.
